Mac users, particularly those who rely on Oracle Java applications, might want to hold off on updating to the latest macOS version. According to Oracle, a compatibility issue with the update could disrupt the functionality of Java apps. In a blog post, Aurelio Garcia-Ribeyro, senior director of Product Management, Oracle, said, “An issue introduced by macOS 14.4which causes Java process to terminate unexpectedly, is affecting all Java versions from Java 8 to the early access builds of JDK 22.”
